MXL V88s
Large Studio Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
The V88s is a small profile multi-purpose microphone with a fixed cardioid pattern. Key features include a 1.25" large diaphragm gold-sputtered capsule and low noise FET preamp with balanced transformerless output. A new addition for the V88s is a 3-position pad (pre-attenuation) switch with settings of 0 dB, -10 dB, and -20 db. The pad switch enables the use of the V88s with sources producing very high sound pressure levels without overloading the internal circuitry.
The V88s proves flexibility with a wide range of applications. It delivers powerful vocals while offering clarity for instrumental performances.
