Gabriel "The Gun" Gonzalez co-founded Orange County's own No Doubt, playing in the group from 1985 to 1992. He is a Cuban-American trumpeter, trombonist, Latin percussionist, synth nerd, producer, and arranger from Los Angeles, and was instrumental in the development of the "Third Wave Ska" movement and the "Orange County Sound." He has played/worked with: No Doubt, Bad Manners, Steel Pulse, The Roots Radics, Eddie Palmieri, Tito Puente (Sr & Jr), Lalo Rodriguez, Richie Ray, Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs, Mario Winans, Jeff Buckley, Bennie Maupin, Bob Mintzer, David Sanborn, Peter White and many other artists. He is a published writer with UMG, Interscope and Ras Records. His songs have been recorded and preformed by No Doubt and Sublime.
