"I've been using MXL mics for years in multiple bands for recording in studio, specifically the MXL 440 condenser. It's a great mic with excellent quality sound production. We've recently switched to the CR89 condenser for studio recordings, and we were extremely excited with the results. Crystal clear audio give my voice a fantastic sound, not leaving anything out and adding much more depth to our music. I have never been dissatisfied with an MXL product, and I have a feeling I never will be." -Elijah Arnold
Formed in 2013, DFB is taking the progressive metal scene by storm with its signature blend of rock, djent, and prog metal. From their toe tapping riffs to their blistering harmonic sweep solos, the band is becoming an indie metal force to be reckoned with. They've played quite a few local shows in Southern California and have begun branching out into the larger spectrum of metal, opening for some of the biggest and heaviest acts in the genre, such at Between The Buried And Me, The Contortionist, Angel Vivaldi and many more. The band has been presented with many awards from small publications and blogs praising his songwriting skills on their first instrumental album, Isolation.
Their vocalist Elijah Arnold joined the band in 2015 and helped record their second album, Juxtaposition, a hit among the band's growing fanbase. Classically trained in both opera and choral forms, Elijah showcases many different styles in his music, from soft and peaceful cleans to heavy, brutal screams and growls. Combined with the unique writing style and undeniable skill of guitarist and DFB founder Dylan Fürr, it makes for a sound unlike anything you've ever heard.
